The story so far...
Theatre85 is a Spain based theatre company born in 2016 when two brand new shows
were performed during the annual theatre symposium at Rose Bruford in London, UK.
The company is headed up by Tommy Murray and Hayley Everitt.
The pair also studied musical theatre together at The Brit School
and have trained in theatre and dance in Barcelona and in Murcia...
They produce work for children and adults -
shows, workshops, events and Zoom storytelling.

slob - premiered at rose bruford college, in the uk.

2017
Throughout 2017, SLOB was performed in the UK, Spain and Paris and also spawned a Christmas special A Very, Very Merry SLOB-Mess. Tommy created this new character and Hayley appeared in the show as the voice of the protagonist's daughter.
2018
In June 2018 Theatre85 co-produced The Maple Monster
magical comedy children's show that was performed in Spain.
2019
2019 brought the clown blog FoolsTalk, an alternative research platform that aims
to keep traditions alive whilst also exploring brand new universal clown-versations,
having enclownters with bold creatives from around the clowning and comedy world.
2020
in 2020 - Alongside interviews and explorations there was also R+D into brand new projects,
trying to stay proactive and stay safe during the unprecedented time in our world's history.
2021
In 2021 difficult times continued, however WE continued to stay silly
on our Instagram sharing stories - photos and making connections -
being connected in distant moments felt more important than ever.
The online Theatre85 clown calendar has grown to include work from all over -
from Canada, the USa and Australia to the UK, Spain, Colombia and so many more.
In Summer 2021 the pair produced their first workshop in circus skills and performed,
devised and co-produced a Halloween Spook-tacular, wizard school clown magic show.
Alongside this they have also performed stories on Zoom and have streamed SLOB online.
in december 2021 'christmas dreams' premierED, a fun elf show filled with clown + magic.
